Supreme Court Clears The Way For Trump To Conduct Mass Layoffs Of Federal Employees
The Supreme Court on Tuesday removed a lower court’s injunction that had halted widespread federal employee terminations across approximately 24 agencies, allowing a legal challenge to President Trump’s government downsizing initiative to continue.
This Supreme Court decision enables the Trump administration to proceed with its governmental restructuring and reduction efforts, which have been spearheaded by the White House’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
